COVID-19 Update
Effective July 27th, 2020, the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic is open for in-person and virtual sessions.

July 27, 2020
We are open for in-person and virtual sessions!
We are doing everything we can to keep you safe and give you peace of mind when you enter our clinic.
What’s changed?
All clinicians are available for in-person booking, and we are maintaining our regular clinic hours. It may feel a bit quieter in the clinic, as we have reduced the number of people present throughout the day. Those who are not in the clinic are working from home, continuing to offer virtual sessions and online classes. If you would like to book a session with a specific clinician, please contact us to confirm availability.
We continue to implement stringent cleaning and sanitization protocols, including diligently sanitizing treatment tables, all equipment, doorknobs and light switches between sessions.
All chairs have been distanced, plexiglass shields (sneeze guards) are in place at front desks, and visual markers have been placed on the floor to make physical distancing as easy as possible with everyone except your therapist.
All shared utensils and plates have been removed from our communal kitchen for the time being. If you have multiple sessions booked in one day, please bring your own dishes and cutlery. The microwave and fridge are still available for client use and are wiped down regularly.
We will no longer be serving coffee, tea, or snacks to clients. There are a few coffee shops and cafes in the neighborhood that are open for take-out service. We are happy to make recommendations!
If any Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic team members experience any signs of illness, they will not come to the clinic for their shifts. You will be notified as soon as possible, and your treatment will be rescheduled to the earliest available date.
Before you arrive…
We will contact you the day before your appointment to give you some instructions and enquire about the status of your health. This pre-screening is very important to help us determine if you are eligible to come in for an in-person session. Your session may be cancelled if we are unable to reach you.
If you have recently returned from international travel, please ensure your session is booked after your mandatory isolation period is over.
Please plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. We must limit the number of people in the reception area at one time. If you do arrive early, consider waiting outside or in your car if you’re comfortable and weather permits.
If you would like to come with a caregiver or loved one, that’s fine! Just tell us in advance so we can ensure we have made the right accommodations. Your guest will also need to be screened over the phone and asked to sign in at reception. Please limit to 1 additional guest.
Remember to pack a snack and bring your own water bottle.
If you are feeling ill, please do not come in. We are happy to help you re-schedule or change to a virtual session. Our clinicians may deny in-person treatment to any client whom they believe may be exhibiting signs of COVID.
When you come in…
Hand sanitizer, disposable masks, and gloves will be provided at the door. Hand sanitizer bottles are available in each room.
Follow the markings on the floor to stand at an appropriate distance and walk in a single direction through the clinic.
Your therapist will wear a surgical-grade disposable mask during your appointment. Masks will be provided and recommend for client use as well. You are also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Touchless payment is recommended if you have a credit card on file.
Please remember to wash or sanitize your hands on your way out.
Anything else?
Our cancellation policy is still in effect to ensure we can provide fellow clients with an opportunity to book a session. If you’re unable to attend due to illness or aren’t comfortable coming in, please let un know as soon as possible. You do have the option to book a Virtual Session instead.
If you have not already done so, check out our latest free online classes.

COVID-19 Update
Effective March 17, 2020, the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic will only be taking virtual appointments. This precaution is to keep our clients and team safe during the COVID-19 outbreak.

March 16, 2020
Dear valued clients,
With recent developments in the COVID-19 situation, we have decided to temporarily suspend all in-person appointments at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic effective March 17, 2020.
We care for many different clients, many of whom are considered vulnerable populations. We do not want to put them at risk. We are very sorry for any interruption this may cause in your rehabilitation program, but it is our priority to keep our team, clients, and community safe.
If you have an upcoming appointment with us, we will be reaching out shortly to make appropriate arrangements with you. If you would still like to see a clinician without travelling to the clinic, we will continue to offer virtual assessment and treatment sessions as an alternative for appropriate clients. Click here to learn more and contact us today to see if telerehabilitation is right for you.
We are monitoring updates from Health Canada, the Government of British Columbia and local authorities closely, and we aim to post a new update by the end of this month. In the meantime, please keep in touch on our social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. We also have some helpful handouts with techniques for improving your wellbeing that anyone can do at home.
Remember, social distancing does not mean social isolation. Take advantage of digital platforms to get in touch with your friends and loved ones. And of course, we will still be available by phone (604-424-8280) or email ([email protected]) to answer any questions you may have.
Take care,
The Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic team
