Kats received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 1992. She is certified in Acupuncture from the AFCI (Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute) since 2003. She is also certified in trigger point dry needling/IMS. In addition, she has completed advanced courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management, and is known for her success in treating varied symptoms of vertigo and concussion. Kats also has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of various orthopedic conditions, tendinopathies, ICBC, work and sports related injuries as well as chronic pain conditions. Kats is a strong proponent of postural re-education and assessing, correcting and restoring muscle imbalance to allow full return to work, sport, function, or activity.
She believes in building collaborative relationships with her clients to develop individualized treatment plans to realize their full potential and accomplish their rehabilitation goals.
In her free time, Kats enjoys outdoor activities, travelling, spending time with her family, and volunteering in her community to improve quality of life.
