CogCamp Cognitive Conditioning
Designed by neuro-expert clinicians and researchers, our four-week CogCamp Cognitive Conditioning program helps improve cognitive function such as memory, attention and executive function, and treats conditions including fatigue, brain fog and other brain-related deficits.
Who is it for?
Individuals experiencing difficulties with performing daily work and/or personal tasks due to cognitive barriers.
If you have experienced a head injury or you live with a chronic condition that has impaired cognitive functioning, this program will identify problem areas and work on increasing cognitive capacities.
With the incorporation of functional movement and mindfulness exercises, this program is ideal for those looking to return to work or sport.
How does it work?
We intertwine cutting-edge technology with evidence-based assessment techniques to get an in depth look at your cognitive capabilities.
4-Week Conditioning Program
The program runs on a 4-week, Monday-to-Friday schedule, with 3 hours of program time per day, split into two 90-minute sessions with a break in between. Week 1 will be entirely in clinic, while weeks 2 to 4 can be completed remotely from home.
Discharge and Return Planning
Following the program, you will complete an assessment protocol and work with your treatment team to develop a plan for returning to activities of daily living, work, or sport.
You will work one-on-one with our occupational therapists, who are focused in neuro-rehabilitation, to improve cognitive functions such as memory, attention, focus, energy, brain fog, and more.
Mindfulness & Movement
You will work one-on-one with our kinesiologists, who are focused in neuro-rehabilitation, on optimizing functional movement patterns and incorporating mindfulness exercises to strengthen your central nervous system.
You will spend time with different members of our neuro-rehabilitation team each week for an education session on how to leverage your brain’s capacity to heal itself. Different topics will be covered each week to provide you with the resources and knowledge to make long lasting changes.
